Proud Pie was founded by chef and hospitality veteran Scott R. Chapman, whose love of pie began in his childhood kitchen in Nashville, Tennessee. After decades in the culinary and hospitality industry, Scott turned that lifelong passion into Proud Pie, opening the original Katy, Texas bakery in 2016 with a simple belief: pie deserves to be the star.
Known for handcrafted crusts, creative flavors, and a little bit of nostalgia in every slice, Proud Pie became part of countless family gatherings and celebrations. Today, that legacy continues through Dish Society, carrying Scott’s original recipes and passion for bringing people together—one slice at a time.
